Terms of Service

Fixt is an AI-powered communication tool that includes an iOS keyboard extension and a companion app. The keyboard uses on-device machine learning to detect emotional escalation in your messages, plus API-powered rewrite suggestions. Fixt is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional mental health support.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fixt. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

• Don’t use Fixt to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
• Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI systems.
• Don’t use automated systems to abuse the rewrite API.
• Don’t resell or redistribute Fixt’s services.
• You are responsible for the messages you choose to send. Fixt provides suggestions, but you decide what to send.

Fixt offers a free tier with limited AI rewrites (10 per week) and a paid subscription for unlimited access.

• Fixt Solo: $7.99/month with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at $7.99/month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

Fixt’s escalation scoring and rewrite suggestions are AI-generated and may not always be appropriate for your specific situation. The AI can make mistakes. You are always responsible for what you choose to send. Fixt does not guarantee relationship outcomes.

You retain all rights to the messages you type. As described in our Privacy Policy, message text is processed on-device for tone detection and sent to our AI provider only when you explicitly request a rewrite. We do not store, log, or retain your message text.

Fixt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of relationships, emotional distress, or communication outcomes arising from reliance on AI-generated suggestions.

In no event will our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Fixt exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Fixt in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fixt, its founders, and its service providers from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the service, or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party, including privacy rights, in connection with messages you send using Fixt.

Fixt is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license is subject to your prior acceptance of Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These Terms, together with the Standard EULA, constitute the complete agreement between you and Fixt governing your use of the app.

You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and Fixt only, and not with Apple. Fixt, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Fixt app and its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide maintenance or support for the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute by emailing us at timeli2026@gmail.com and giving us 60 days to work it out.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Fixt agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Fixt service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that (i) you may assert claims in small-claims court if your claims qualify, and (ii) either party may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property rights.

Class-action waiver. You and Fixt agree to bring claims against each other only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, neither you nor Fixt can require the other to participate in arbitration.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Fixt at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab in the Fixt app. Upon termination, your right to use Fixt ceases and any associated data is deleted.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of Fixt after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
